Hey guys,
So I’ve finally completed the upper set on my trays, and have another three to go for the bottom, however I’m not completely happy with how they’ve turned out so when I go back to my Orthodontist next week I’m going to ask for refinements.
From the front:
I don’t think my teeth feel flat enough across the front of them at the top, and neither are they flat along the bottom and look a little uneven, but judge for yourselves:
And this is the side view:
Will post up here after I’ve spoken to the Orthodontist and let you know how I get on.

Your teeth are looking great! I’m sorry you’re not happy with the results. I’m anxious to hear what your orthodontist says. As for my refinements, the dentist told me not to wear the top ones, but to save them just in case. I’m only on number 2 of the 10 refinement aligners on the bottom, so I have a long way to go to see if this finally works. I will hope for a much easier set of refinements in your case! Keep us posted!
Thank you for stopping by Marlene – I’m happy with the way they’ve moved, however I was happier at the 14th tray and now the 16th seems to have moved the left one too much over and is bent, if that makes sense – but I will see what he says tomorrow and keep you informed.

What are those bumps on your teeth in the after photos from???
Carrie they’re referred to as either buttons or attachments. They’re attached to the teeth to aid in moving them when in the trays. Some teeth are difficult to move, so the Invisalign tray has a little bump made in it to allow space for the attachment, and the teeth move better.

I just got my alligners a week ago I have to wear them for 12 months I can’t wait to see the results.

Hey thanks for the compliments Guylene. I’ve been using Sensodyne Gentle Whitening and it’s been amazing! I’ve also used a whitening gel whilst I have the trays to use it with so that has helped, although my teeth were sensitive to it.

Good for you. I Still have “metal” braces . hope it come out earlier so that I used that one rather than the traditional. Sometime braces are irritating. You will have bruises all over your mouth because of the hooks of braces. anyway, CONGRATS!
